Brussels-based Selmz (she/her) is all about blending bass-driven genres and so much more, in order to create powerful and emotional experiences.
She navigates at her own pace between several sounds, as long as they contain the intensity she’s after : from Dubstep to Club, Grime to Footwork, Jungle to Trap, her selections are driven by a deep curiosity and a passion that often turns into long-lasting hyperfixation.
Digging through old, forgotten, and overlooked tracks, she enjoys creating a dialogue between eras, bringing nostalgic and contemporary heads together. Her sets are about tension, energy, and bringing personal (p)references to life. Her goal is to share the excitement she feels when the beat kicks in, letting listeners discover her fierce dedication to music.
What started as passing on music to her friends slowly turned into sets with Eclipse Tribez, radio shows, parties and festivals across Europe.
