Half Belgian half Portuguese, Bass Toast is a Brussels-based young selector, producer and label owner whose Cosmic Breeze Records imprint flies the flag for contemporary European house and other soulful sub genres.
His attention to detail, selection and his production is an environment of jazz, fusion, broken beat, bass and recently deconstructed club music. By blending different genres his skills extend to energetic radio shows as well as regularly playing at Kiosk Radio, A side of his Radio shows he’s been a curator of Transit Festival and is playing on Festivals such has Paradise city festival, la Nature Festival, Fuse and often in la Cabane in Brussels.
Bass Toast is a man that has also garnered support from the likes of Lefto, AliA, DTM Funk to name a few, and with more releases in the pipeline, Bass Toast is one to watch.
