SOROR is a Brussels-based band born out of the encounter between Sophie Chiaramonte, a bassist with a passion for rock, and Alice Ably, steeped in 90s trip-hop.
This osmosis between bewitching bass and Beth Gibbons-infused vocals is accompanied by Théo Lanau’s sharp drum grooves and Thibaut Lambrechts’s subtle guitar lines.
SOROR deliver deep, intimate songs. Their first EP, recorded and mixed by Koen Gisen, was released in March 2020, and set the band’s course: an organic, melancholy sound.
The band returned on 22 September 2023 with the release of a debut album.
