Project born during spring 2021, Supa is the result of the meeting between two DJs from Lille, Ango & Skevitz.
Abandoning their usual turntables to play live with beats, samples and synths, they draw their inspiration from the rhythms and melodies of the global world sound system. The balafon hooks up with the TR-909, the UK garage meets Afro-Colombian rhythms, for a result as percussive as it is hypnotic.
Accompanied on video alternately by the Calais-based artist Loup Blaster or by the Charleroi-based Keinoudji Gongolo, who both bring their own visual universe, Supa is a project that can be watched as much as it can be listened to.
